THE JOB

Job Title: Billing Supervisor/ Manager
Location: Long Beach
Assignment: Full Time
Pay Rate: $40,000 to $55,000 per year
Industry: Floor Covering/Retail

Requirements:

1) 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
2) Strong Excel experience and experience with Quickbooks preferred
3) Degree in Finance or Accounting

Description: The best candidate for this Billing Supervisor position will have very strong analytical skills and will have industry experience. The candidate MUST have at least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable lead role. As a Billing Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for preparing month-end journal entries; Reviews monthly financial reports and researches material variances; Prepares internal financial reports and corporate schedules; Prepares general ledger account reconciliation/analysis. This position is also responsible for other accounting tasks and will oversee the work of the accounts payable clerk and the accounts receivable clerk. Performs various special projects, including preparation of accounting memos. Assists with implementation of internal controls meeting company system requirements. Directly reports to the President. Other responsibilities include maintaining records, reports and/or files. Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and our Quickbooks POS Retail Pro system to enter, access or retrieve data. NOTE: This is a mid-level position with training available and hourly compensation based on previous work experience and salary history.
